The Markilux 1000 Open Awning For The Patio Or Deck
Open awnings are most suitable when the retracted awning is safely protected from direct sunlight and exposure to the elements through a deep roof overhang. Open awnings can provide a more economic alternative while still incorporating our renowned
awnings.
Awning Design
This retractable awning has incorporated a uniquely harmonious transition from the torque bar to the roller tube. This roller tube is steel, and 85 mm in diameter for maximum strength and durability. Strong arms ensure a taut awning at all times. There is also an optional electric ShadePlus drop valance for this model.
The 1000 can be combined with a graceful and attractively shaped coverboard offering a slim aluminum profile and transparent plexiglass panel to provide protection to the awning.

The Markilux 1000 is custom-sized to your precise requirements. The maximum width is 23 feet and maximum drop is 13 feet.Awning Drives & Operation
The Markilux 1000 open awning can be operated manually with our stainless steel winding handle, or can be equipped with an electric motor for remote control motorized operation. For maximum convenience and performance, it can also be equipped with our Sensor-Controlled Automatic Operation.Awning Fabrics
