The Markilux 1200 is a compact semi-cassette retractable awning that provides a highly attractive, sleek cassette suitable for the most discriminating tastes. This sturdy awning enables it to safely shade very large areas.
Awning Design
The 1200 offers a cover cassette made of extruded aluminum with a 50 mm steel torque bar to prevent twist and deflection. The awning arms are made of drop-forged aluminum with round steel-link chain at the elbow joints. The 85 mm roller tube ensures fabric rigidity and best possible winding characteristics. A result of our renowned Quality German Engineering, this awning will provide a lifetime of performance. This retractable awning has a sturdy front profile with integrated gutter and water drainage spouts.

Awning Dimensions
The Markilux 1200 has a maximux single width of 21 feet and drop of 11.5 feet. For larger patio and deck awning installations, the 1200 can be installed as a coupled unit.
Awning Drives & Operation
This retractable awniing can be installed with a manual winding handle or an electronic drive for motorized awning operation. This awning can also be installed with Sensor-Controlled Automatic Operation.
Awning Accessories Available
The Markilux 1200 can be installed with a "Shade-Plus" valance for added sun protection and design interest. The Markilux infrared heater can also be added to this model.
