The Markilux 1600 Semi-Cassette Retractable Patio Or Deck Awning
The Markilux 1600 combines exceptional design and superior engineering. The brilliant style of the 1600 has been distinguished with an iF Product Design Award
. The elegant aluminum moving arm closes together with the top gutter of the semi-cassette in complete harmony, and is an ideal shade solution for the most discriminating outdoor environments.
Awning Design
The 50 mm steel torque bar is twist-resistant, and the powerful steel roller has a sturdy 85 mm diameter for superior rigidity. The 1600 retractable awning can be equipped with a dual steel-link chain or with gas-tensioned piston technology. These Quality, German-Engineered components assure a taut cover every time the awning is extended and years of outstanding performance. The top gutter is equipped with a brush to clean larger dirt particles each time the awning is retracted. The 1600 is also available with a wall-sealing profile.  |

Awning Dimensions
The Markilux 1600 is available in widths up to 21 feet, with a maximum drop of 12.5 feet. Units can be coupled for installations requiring wider awning coverage. Exceptionally wide systems are fitted with a rolltex bearing to prevent the cover from drooping.Awning Accessories, Drives & Operation
The 1600 retractable awning offers optional built-in lighting (check out the Markilux 1650 with integrated halogen spotlights) or a shade-plus mechanism to provide shading off the front of the awning. 1600 retractable awning can be installed with a manual winding handle or a remote controlled electric motor for motorized operation. This model is also available with Sensor-Controlled Automatic Operation.  |
