Markilux exterior solar screens, or solar shades, are indispensable tools in managing sunlight into a commercial building as well as providing privacy. The Markilux 750/850 models have stainless steel guide rods, an elegant alternative to customary cable guide rods. This Markilux product is the result of years of Quality German Engineering.
Commercial Solar Screen Design & Mounting
The compact and discreet cassette is made of extruded aluminum and stands only 4" in height to harmonize comfortably with the building's decor. The solar screen (solar shade) is guided smoothly down stainless steel rods. When retracted, the screen is completely enclosed inside the cassette and fully protected from the wear-and-tear of the elements. The 750 has a square profile and the 850 has a round profile. Each can be mounted to a wall or ceiling.

Commercial Solar Shade Dimensions
The 750/850 solar shade is custom-sized to your exact specification. The maximum width of a single screen is 16.5 feet and the maximum drop is 11 feet. Multiple units can be coupled for larger area installations.
Commercial Vertical Blind Drives & Operation
The 750/850 exterior vertical blind can be equipped to operate manually with a winding handle with bayonet fitting. Alternatively, it can be equipped with an electric motor and remote control operation as well as Sensor-Controlled Automatic Operation.
Commercial Solar Shade Fabrics
There are over 200 Unique, High-Tech Commercial Awning Fabric selections for this vertical solar screen, including Sunsilk SNC (nano-clean) and Transolair, which blocks the sun but keeps the view. Our staff will help you select the ideal fabric for your decor and performance requirements.
