The 8500 Retractable Awning For Sunrooms With Indented Guide Tracks
The Markilux 8500 sunroom awning has all of the structural characteristics of the Markilux 8000 retractable awning. The distinction for the 8500 model is that it is installed with indented guide tracks. Instead of the guide tracks being on the outside edges of the awning, they are indented so the awning can extend wider than the support structure. This is ideal for sunrooms with beveled roofs.
The guide tracks can be indented as much as 47 inches. If the system is asymmetrical, then the awning can be indented a maximum of 16 inches.
