Markilux 8850 Canopy That Extends Wider Than Its Guide Tracks
The Markilux 8850 canopy is an 8800 canopy that extends wider than its guide tracks. This provides a larger shade area and is visually attractive because what's seen is the plane of the canopy instead of the mounting brackets and guide tracks. The 8850 is ideal for use with a pergola, trellis or arbor and for a beveled-edge structure. It offers a contemporary design and unique and flexible deployment options.
Dimensions & Design Features
The 8850 canopy is custom-made to the precise dimensions of your project. The maximum width of a single unit is 21.3 feet with a maximum extension at this width is 13.1 feet. The maximum extension of a single unit is 16.4 feet with a maximum width of 16.4 feet at this extension. The canopy can be extended up to 39 inches beyond the guide tracks on each side. If the installation is asymettrical, the difference on the extension may not exceed 16 inches.

- The 8850 canopy achieves permanently high cover tension using two independently operating gas piston mechanisms.
- The 8850 comes with a wall sealing profile which covers the gap between the cassette and the wall.
Cassette Color Options
The fabric and mechanisms of the canopy fully retract into its stylish cassette. This provides for premium aesthetics and full protection from the elements. The 8850 canopy is offered in the 4 standard cassette colors below and 162 custom Dupont RAL colors (view cassette custom color chart). Control of the motorized 8850 is hard-wired with an attractive switch located at your convenience.
