Wind Tunnel Testing Of Markilux Shade Solutions

The outstanding performance of Markilux products for thousands of satisfied customers over decades supports our claim of being the worldwide gold standard for shade solutions. But the engineers at Markilux weren't satisfied with strong anecdotal evidence. They decided to put our awnings and window shades through extensive wind tunnel testing to see if we could support this claim more scientifically.

The results of the wind tunnel testing were nothing short of astonishing, even to our engineers. Our standard awning product withstood frontal and lateral winds up to 80 mph, and our exterior window shades withstood winds up to 135 mph. These results are an order of magnitude greater than the forces awnings or window shades would ever have to face in normal installations.
