Markilux products are all produced with drop-forged moving arm parts in aluminum or steel. These are much stronger materials than the cast parts used by other awning manufacturers.

The retractable awning cassettes, moving arm parts, top gutters, roller support brackets and attachment brackets are manufactured are made to the highest quality standard as measured by the German TUV organization. Drop -forged and extruded aluminum parts provide superior tensile strength compared to the cast metal parts used by most awning companies. This provides maximum durability and long life. At the same time, these components are also the most aesthetically pleasing.
